Recipe: Pumpkin-Cheesecake Treat
Ingredients
1/3 cup fat free Greek yogurt
1/3 cup canned pumpkin
½ scoop vanilla or cinnamon protein powder
1 ½ tsp honey
1 tsp pumpkin pie spices
Mix all together in a bowl and enjoy! Good at room temperature or slightly heated.
Specifics on the ingredients:
- Yogurt – right now I am loving Oikos Organic Greek Yogurt. Their vanilla flavor is only slightly sweetened, which I love. It would work great in this recipe; you could then decrease the amount of honey.
- Pumpkin – careful not to get pumpkin pie filling, try Libby’s Pure Pumpkin
- Protien powder – BSN’s Lean Dessert is not cheap, but it is very good, and has a great texture.
