Feeling Full
1:30pm Feeling full, which is weird, since lunch was small – sautéed cabbage with turkey lettuce wrap. I did eat rather quickly, then had a couple gulps of kefir, and some snack nut mix from the break room (bad I know, but it has been a really stressful day already). Ha, was just talking with hubby this morning about how women emotionally eat.
I was scheduled to go to the doctor for my yearly physical this afternoon, but my boss is leaving town and wants some projects finished. Ugh. At least I was able to reschedule the appointment rather easily. Ran an errand at lunch instead of working out – I had planned to do a short training session after the doctor, now I am not sure. Maybe I will go at 3.
Sore from last night’s massage – yeah, that’s right, sore. It was intense, not a relaxing massage. But I think it was good…
3:49pm – just returned from a quick workout. Warmed up on the treadmill, then did some squats, deadlifts, shoulder work, 3 fairly good pull-ups (yay, I feel so strong when I do pullups), back extensions, step ups, and hanging knee raises. Did some jumping jacks (betweeen exercises) and cooled down. Total time from leaving the office to returning: 48 minutes. That includes drive time and changing clothes. Not too shabby.
Someone brought more treats into the break room – fudge oreos, peanut butter oreos and pecan sandies. I was very tempted by the sadies, but instead had a couple almonds and some good dark chocolate – half of one the the Ghirardelli 60% Cacao Dark Chocolate squares – so about 30 calories. It really hit the spot.
