Wing Night

I was surprisingly good last night: it was Wednesday night – also known as “wing night” because a nearby restaurant has wings on special on Wednesday nights, and they are really good wings. So after work hubby and I went there – I had 6 drummies (pulled off as much skin as I could) dipped in some yummy sauce. I also had a small bowl of coleslaw with some peanut dressing before leaving home. Throughout the night I consumed 4 strong vodka sodas, but didn’t eat more like I often do (upon returning home I attacked the fridge and got out some cheese to eat with some pita chips, but hubby shamed me for eating more so I stopped after 1 bite). It was more alcohol that I probably needed, but at least I did well food-wise. But, before I get too proud of myself – that much vodka was probably close to 500 calories.

Played 2 good games of pool on our new pool table last night, it was really fun. I broke the first game – and sunk a ball! I never do that. Maybe I will finally get good at pool.

This morning was Solar Vinyasa Flow (yay, this one is fun) followed by run on the treadmill: 2.8 miles in 26 minutes, 300 calories burned. I was so hungry (the alcohol can do that), ate the last 4 protein pancakes with almond and apple butter, drank some milk, then had some of the fresh batch of yogurt I made overnight mixed with coconut flakes and a bit of chocolate protein powder (had read about that idea somewhere, it was OK, will keep in it mind when having a sweet craving).

2:40pm Mini-workout: 30 squats, 5 push-ups. I think I am dehydrated from last night, been extra thirsty all day.
