Bad Weekend
I am not going to go into any details, but it was a bad weekend for me, too much alcohol, food, not enough productivity. The weather was nice, and I did get a couple nice walks in, but that was about all. And it really showed on the scale this morning: 140.0lbs. Yikes. And my leg hurts way too much to run. Went to the chiropractor again this morning (went on Friday as well) he really worked my left leg, hoping it will help.
Did Yoga for Weightloss #2 this morning, I have mixed feelings about it. I like how it gets right into a flow to warm up, and a nice flow, but I didn’t like how it then moved into plow/shoulder stand. I think I need to look into downloading a slightly longer version, hopefully that would give me more of what I am looking for.
Trying to figure out what I should do over the noon hour. Brought my gym bag, if I go to the gym should I strength train or just do some yoga? Maybe a little of each? I could also run errands, but I think I want to go to the gym.
1:42pm Well I did go to the gym, and I did a combo of body weight circuits and yoga – just what I needed today. I could do that every day (if I could mix it up enough to keep from getting bored) since I am not pushing too hard, and the yoga is just great for my leg right now. Lunch was some soup I made last night: chicken sausage and kale with white beans. Very tasty, also had half an apple, 1 teaspoon peanut butter and a few “Mary’s Gone” crackers.
